About Oceanside, OR
Oceanside Beach and Tunnel Beach are unique Oceanside Oregon beaches that are amazing to explore. The tunnel through Maxwell Point to Tunnel Beach is man-made. During low tides (usually -1 to -2 tides) you can walk around Maxwell Point to to Tunnel Beach, otherwise use the tunnel and get some great photos. You might want a flashlight as the tunnel is dark and there is usually some water to get through.
Features :
Oceanside Beach - Access from the state park parking lot (easiest) or Symons State View Point (small steep trail). You can walk all the way to Netarts Bay on the beach. That is a fairly long walk but doable.
Tunnel Beach - There is usually good agate hunting here and tide pools if the tide is low. Typically there are less people.
